I always read Chrysanthemum to my 1st graders and we make flowers. Students add one popsicle stick for how many syllables that are in their name; add a petal for each letter in their name. We put all of them in a vase and admire them all year long.

WE like big red barn, it is my daughter's favorite book. We used colored bubbles instead of spray bottle.
we have not done any activity this month (we are moving next week). But my daughter (2 1/2) acts out Kittens first full moon, she licks everything trying to get to the plate of milk...
